BIO

Cameron Howard is an audio engineer, session drummer, and drum tech with a passion for all things phonic. With a Bachelor of Arts and Professional Studies in Music Technology from Capital University, Howard has strengthened his craft in instrumental and voice recording, foley, ADR, and post-production, as well as podcast/radio production both on-site and in-studio. Alongside this, he provides self-produced session drum writing and recording, as well as live performance drum tech services for artists of all genres. With a home studio specialized for recording live drums, multiple styles of drum kits, snares, and cymbals on-hand, Howard supplies the specialized drum sound your project demands.

When not busy with projects or learning, Howard focuses on live performances as the drummer in Columbus-based hard rock disco pop act, Noise Ctrl, as well as hosting, producing, and distributing “Joining The Majority – Perspectives for a Death-Denying Culture” – a philosophy and existential introspection podcast available on Spotify. He is driven by an intrinsic dedication to bringing stories, songs, and visual media to life through nonpareil sonic assets and memorable collaboration.

His creative visions are inspired by podcast productions such as “Supernatural” with Ashley Flowers from Parcast, albums such as “Laugh Tracks” by hardcore powerhouse, Knocked Loose, and films with stellar sound design including “Mother” and “Despicable Me”. Beyond audio and production, Cameron carries experience in music-focused event planning, as well as studio and venue construction.

When not busy with his craft, Cameron can be found restoring and modifying his ’97 Mazda Miata or attending local hardcore and metal shows. He believes that his attention to individuality and expression are key elements in both creative work, as well as personal growth and introspection.
